Dimitar Dasklaov was born in 1980 in Varna, Bulgaria. He first studied with Lijuben Haralambiev at the National School of Arts in Varna. In 1999 he continued his education at the National Music Academy in Sofia studying Jazz guitar and modern music. Again in 1999 he won first prize at the National Guitar Contest in Kjustendil (Bulgaria).
In 2001 he continued his studies with George Vassilev at the Conservatoire of Lausanne where he obtained a bachelor degree in professional guitar teaching. He has played master classes with some world known classical guitarists such as: Dusan Bogdanovic, Zoran Dukic, Aniello Desiderio, Carlo Marchione, Jose Maria Gallardo Del Ray, Pavel Steidl etc.
In 2010 he finished his Master "Concert" Diploma degree the Conservatoire of Lausanne.
During his studies of classical guitar Dimitar took particular interest in playing in bands of different styles – Acoustic, Rock, Pop, Jazz, Funk and Electro music. He was also involved in many projects in Bulgaria, Switzerland and France with various musicians and artists. He is composing music and making song arrangements at his home studio. He is particularly active as guitar player, singer, composer, and studio musician. |
